50 Cent is about to Get Richer with the Play Station Portable. His new film Get Rich or Die Trying will have a web site built exclusively for PSP users.
The content will be available for users with the PSP 2.0 operating system. Trailers, wall papers, webisodes and photos will be available for users to download directly to their unit.
Paramount Pictures Interactive Marketing, a division of Paramount Pictures designed the site. Amy Powell, vice president of interactive marketing made the announcement yesterday.
“We’re thrilled to have built the first movie-related PSP-specific site — it’s just one example of how we’re always looking for new ways to reach online moviegoers,”Powell says of the development. ”As we move into a mobile world, it’s important to be aware of the ways advances in technology affect information access. In addition, ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin” is a perfect match for the first PSP-exclusive movie site; the PSP is huge in the hip-hop community and 50’s fans are avid PSP users.”
