There seems to be no stopping 50 Cent this year. Hot on the heels of two high profile signings in M.O.P. and Mobb Deep, Fif is readying the release of the Get Rich or Die Trying soundtrack and movie.
The soundtrack will hit store shelves November 8, with the movie going to theaters nation-wide the next day. Every artist on G-Unit will contribute to the soundtrack.
Window Shopper is the lead single for the movie, and showcases 50 tapping into the mentality of the broke emcee unable to afford some of the finer things in life. The song also mirrors several aspects of the film.
“I created the music for the soundtrack while I was actually filming the movie. I had a studio trailer with me and would record every day between takes,”50 says of the soundtrack. “I keep telling you, I’m the hardest working man alive.”

In addition to appearing on the soundtrack, Fif is also the executive producer of the project. Dr. Dre and Hi-Tek also contribute to the project. In addition to appearances from G-Unit, look for Nate Dogg and unofficial G-Unit soldier Ma$e to pop up on the soundtrack.
