Set Shakur, sister of late rapper 2 Pac Shakur is set to release Madameveli, a high fashion urban line for women.
The name is a spin off of Pac’s Makaveli alias. The brand looks to expand the legacy left behind by the slain rapper by revealing the female ego of the Makavelian persona.
“Madameveli embraces the oddities each woman possesses and accentuates the physical and intrinsic features that make her unique,” Shakur says.
The line will offer everything from bustier/gaucho cat suits to signature 2-piece cotton/Lycra suits.

Set Shakur has provided styles for a variety of women in the entertainment industry, including 2 Pac’s mom Afeni Shakur and Jasmine Guy. Her work has been seen on BET: Style, The Wendy Williams Show and the VH1 and Source Awards shows.
Madamaveli is set to hit stores in Fall 2006.
