Najee Smith was arrested for criminal trespassing yesterday (September 29), the New York Daily News reports.
Smith, the son of LL Cool J, was thrown out of a Manhattan club prior to the arrest. He was apparently celebrating his birthday at Catch Rooftop and was asked to leave the venue after becoming intoxicated, causing a disturbance and scuffling with bouncers.
The 26-year-old was released after arraignment.
The rapper was not in court for the hearing and did not comment on the situation.
