Bmacthequeen has been one of the West Coast’s top rising female emcees and is attempting to make a push to separate herself from the rest of the pack.

Recently sitting down with HipHopDX Senior Features Writer Ural Garrett, the rapper explained her relationship with Hit Boy and how it all began.

“It’s about to be 10 years now [that I’ve known Hit Boy],” she explained via a segment of today’s (September 23) DX Daily. “We met on MySpace. He had dope beats, I was rapping at the time and we just exchanged information and began to grow from there. He just took off out of nowhere. One day he was in my house and [next] day he was in a mansion.”

Recently releasing her latest project last month with Black KidsBmacthequeen also talked about being heavily featured on Hit Boy and HS87’sWe The Plugcollaborative album.

“The purpose of We The Plug was for us to really re-establish ourselves,” she explained. “Hit Boy gave us a platform to really get our names out there, get our faces out there and now it’s time for us to expand and do our own thing.”
