In an interview with New York personality Ed Lover, Jay Z announced yesterday that he’s declaring war on several rappers in the industry.

Hova did not name anyone specifically but said that he’s been hearing a lot of rappers talking bad about him. Never one to make idle threats, Jay will “air it out” October 27 at the Continental Arena in New Jersey during Power 105’sPower House concert.

According to an MTV.com article, Hov told Ed Lover that some rappers are “hard headed”. In addition, he further fueled the fire surrounding a possible comeback by alluding to unreleased material.

“I got a lot of records,” he said. “I’m getting the itch. I need to see the people. It’s time for a good show in New York City … I gotta flip on some people.”

Like southern emcee Paul Wall, Jay has the internet going nuts, and plenty of names are circulating around the net. As of press time, Hov hasn’t let the cat out of the bag.

”I gotta put ’em in the choke hold, the Boston crab. I gotta smash a couple of people.”
