Suge Knight’s legal woes continued after a judge froze his assets, one day after he was shot while attending a party in Miami.

On August 29, a Los Angeles area judge froze Knight’s assets after he was named as party in the divorce of Michael and Lydia Harris. This past March, a judge ordered Knight to pay Lydia Harris $107 million for claims of unpaid royalties and half of the profits from Death Row Records.

After learning of the suit, Michael Harris filed for divorce, stating that he is owed half of the multi-million dollar pay out.

Steven Goldberg, Michael Harris’ attorney states that Ms. Harris is trying to cut his client out of the settlement. When Knight’s name was added to the divorce action, it prevented him from “disposing or transferring his assets away,”Goldberg told the The Associated Press.
