2 Pac left behind a large body of work after his untimely death nine years ago. To honor the anniversary of his death, The Rose, Vol. 2 will be released September 20.
Unlike the first installment, Vol. 2 will feature original songs based on Shakur’s poetry. Ludacris, dead prez, Lyfe Jennings and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony all make contributions to the project.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, which will help complete the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts. The Center will provide a place for kids to freely express themselves through various art forms.
