Two of the top 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 200 belong to Hip Hop albums. A$AP Rocky’s At. Long. Last. A$AP is the Harlem, New York rapper’s second album to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200. Boosie Badazz scored his highest charting album by landing at #3 this week and Ed Sheeran’s X bumps up one spot.
A$AP Rocky Scores Second Straight #1 Album
A$AP Rocky is two-for-two when it comes to albums landing on the top spot of Billboard charts. Rocky followed up the success of 2013’s Long Live A$AP by debuting #1 on the charts again with his latest offering, At. Long. Last. A$AP. The album was streamed over 25 million times according to soundscan and Rocky fans snatched over 116,000 albums from store shelves.
Boosie Badazz Debuts At #3
Boosie Badazz’s sixth studio album, Touchdown to Cause Hell, landed at the #3 spot on Billboard’s Hot 200, which makes the album his highest charting project ever.

The album is the rapper’s first project since being released from prison last March. Boosie Badazz (formerly known as Lil Boosie) sold over 59,000 copies of Touchdown to Cause Hell in its first week and it was streamed over 2 million times, according to Soundscan.
“Furious 7” Still In The Top 10
The soundtrack to the uber successful Fast & Furious 7 movie has remained in the top 10 since one month after its release. The album debuted at # 12 on the chart, fell to #17 a week later, before ascended up the chart 15 spots to #2 .
The album peaked at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart during its fourth week. The soundtrack’s success is largely due to the hit single “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.
