Rich Homie Quan recently spoke to Rolling Stone about his journey from the height of “Type Of Way” to his latest solo mixtape, If You Ever Think I Will Stop Going In, Ask Double R.
Two summers ago, as Quan’s infectious anthem “Type Of Way” gained steam, the “New Atlanta” rapper recalled wanting to hear the song played “everywhere” he went.
“It went from me wanting to hear it played, to me performing it, to it being on the radio – from the radio to shooting the video and then a gold track,” he says.
Quan recently stepped away from Rich Gang (Birdman, Young Thug) to put out his first solo offering in two years.
