Has Kanye West found a new go-to producer?
One of the newest members of West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint is Charlie Heat, an upstart beat-maker who has already worked on tracks for Madonna, Pusha T, Kanye and Vic Mensa.
His latest anthem, “You Mad,” was released last weekend and features Chi-town natives Kanye West and Vic Mensa trading bars over Heat’s anthemic production.
In a new interview with Revolt, Heat says that collaboration “happened organically.”

“Vic played me the record, like an earlier version of it,” he says. “We all went in on it, and then Kanye came and put his Gliss on it. Mike Dean did a whole lot of on the record as well.”
Heat also happens to be one of the dozen individuals credited on Kanye West’s “All Day.”
Though he didn’t go in to detail as to what he contributed, he said, ”It’s crazy there has not been a record that the ‘cool kids’ like and the general consumers like in a min.”
“You have the Travis Scott – Kid Cudi fans and the Fetty Wap –Young Thug fans that like the record as well,” Heat says. “It’s a dope mix to have two different sides of the culture reach a pretty common opinion on a song.”

Heat is confident about the new music his label has on the way. “The SZN is here,” he says “It’s a lot of stuff coming from everybody.”
