This week’s biggest Hip Hop headlines included a fair share of both gossip news and revelations about new music from some of the industry’s biggest stars.
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose’s relationship seems to be on the mend after months of public back-and-forth with recent news opening up the possibility of their agreeing to shared custody of their son Sebastian. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is still in label purgatory but hinted that his Free Weezyalbum would be released for fans before the end of the month.
Elsewhere, in the aftermath of his recent album release Kendrick Lamar pumps the brakes on fans prematurely calling the record a classic album.
Wiz Khalifa & Amber Rose Reportedly Agree To Shared Custody
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have agreed to co-parent their two-year-old son, Sebastian, according to TMZ.

The site says that the Pittsburgh rapper asked Rose to listen to his new song “See You Again,” which appears on the Furious 7 soundtrack.
“How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got?” Wiz Khalifa sings on the cut. “Everything I went through you was standing there by my side / And now you gonna be with me for the last ride.”
After hearing the song, Rose reportedly called Wiz and agreed to work with him regarding raising their son.

Lil Wayne To Release Free Weezy In April
Lil Wayne says his Free Weezy album is set for release later this month.
According to Red Bull, Wayne “dropped some hints about his upcoming release” at his Red Bull Guest House show in South Beach, Miami on Saturday (March 28).
While his deejay donned a F.W.A. (Free Weezy Album) tee, Wayne reportedly gave out free T-shirts and performed songs, such as ”I’m Going In,” “Ms. Officer” and “No Worries.”

Kendrick Lamar Discusses Fans Calling TPAB A Classic Album
Kendrick Lamar says it’s too early to call his latest album a classic.
“This is ‘sophisticated gangsta’ shit,” Kendrick said in a recent interview with Hot 97. “This is the album that I always wanted to make. It’s what I grew up on. good kid, m.A.A.d city, I maneuvered through the cracks. I know what the fans wanted to hear.”

As for his personal favorite track off the album, right now it’s “Wesley’s Theory” but he says “it changes every week.”
Although “Wesley’s Theory” is currently K. Dot’s favorite song, he feels “i” is more impactful.
“That’s the best song I ever wrote,” Kendrick says about “i.” “Never in a million years did I think I would make a positive record coming from where I come from… It’s all God’s work.”
