Internationally known and locally respected former pimp Bishop Don “Magic” Juan is set to join the Elemental magazine family. Beginning with the July issue, the Archbishop will offer exclusive advice for the magazine’s readers in need of guidance on dealing with the opposite sex.
“I’m giving it to you straight with no chaser,” he says of the new advice column. The column is another addition to Don Juan’s long media history, which includes touring with Snoop Dogg, appearing in various movies and music videos and even writing books. In 1985, he retired from pimping and devoted his life to the church.
Elemental magazine offers a blend of hip-hop, fashion and intelligent discourse. According to the magazine’s website, www.elementalmag.com, the magazine strives to be a “guidebook for this generation.”
