With their upcoming album set for release on June 16, Migos released a tripped out video for their new single “One Time” yesterday.
The Ninian Doff-directed video features cameos from the likes of Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson and Blake Anderson of Workaholics. Speaking with HipHopDX at SXSW about the visuals, Migos explained how the video came to be released officially by YouTube as a lead-up to the 2015 YouTube Music Awards.
“It’s a video where you get to pay attention to a lot of different things going on in the video,” Offset said in a clip that debuted as a part of today’s DX Daily. “You got to see it for yourself, you got to smoke something one time.”
“Ain’t nobody did a video like this,” Quavo added. “It’s gonna go down as one of the hardest videos in history. Ain’t nobody did a video like this. It’s gon’ have a lot of views. Lots of views. Shout out to YouTube, they came out and shot it themselves.”

“We turned up, we shot it at L.A., at the mansion how we do it, in the hills,” Takeoff said.
Takeoff also touched on the clip being released as a part of a batch of videos YouTube is using to promote their current Music Awards.
“There was a few artists, they picked us along with some other ones I think,” Takeoff said. “That’s an honor, them picking the Migos. That show how hard we work. Shout out to YouTube.”
