Common says he isn’t done winning prestigious awards.

Now, that he’s nabbed an Oscar, a Grammy and an Academy Award, the rapper-turned-actor has his sights set on an Emmy and a Tony Award.

Common stopped by Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club today (March 12) to talk about wanting to win all five awards – a feat known as the EGOT.

“I want an Emmy and I want a Tony,” Common tells the radio show hosts. “It’s called the E.A.G.O.T. and there’s only a few people that have ever walked the earth to have done that.

“That’s one of my goals,” he continues. “I got the Golden Globe, Oscar and the Grammy… The Tony Award, I would have to win doing theater and the Emmy, I would have to win for something on TV. I’m going for it.”

Earlier in the 23-minute visual, Common spoke about Jay Z congratulating him for earning the Golden Globe for the theme song to Selma, “Glory,” featuring John Legend.

Common has yet to work with Jay, but he says it’s something that’s on his bucket list.

“I want to [work with Jay Z],” he says. “That dude is obviously one of the greatest. I would love to rock with Hov.”
