Bizzy Bone, member of the platinum-plus rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is preparing a new album, and this time, it’s all about the fans. The emcee, known just as much for his erratic behavior as his rapping is will release For the Fans on June 7, a six track EP dedicated to his supporters.
Though tracks are few in number, the disc shows many aspects of the rapper including the fast-tongued trademark Bone flow that fans have come to love. He also takes a page out of LL Cool J’s book with “A Letter” and “Have You Been Lonely.” Bizzy also tries his hand at a sermon style flow with “Priceless.”
For the Fans also takes fan appreciation to a level unseen by many in the hip-hop industry. The first one hundred fans that purchase the album will have their names printed on the album’s insert booklet. Unlike past releases by the Bone brethren, this EP will be limited to a 1,000 copy run, and sold exclusively on www.BizzyBone-ForTheFans.com.
This is not Bizzy’s first attempt at releasing music directly to the listening public. In 2004, he released The Beginning and the End on BizzyBoneMusic.com.
