Two months into 2015 and “FourFiveSeconds” continues its reign as the most successful single of the year. Just below, The Weeknd’s soundtrack original “Earned It” is still on the rise thanks to the success of the 50 Shades Of Grey movie and Drake manages to break into the Top 3 with one of his surprise album tracks.
Lower down the list Wiz Khalifa and Iggy Azalea debuted a new single in the Top 10, Juicy J features on a pair of R&B hits, and Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne manage to hold on to their spots at #4 and #10.
“FourFiveSeconds” Holds On To #1
Despite a 34% drop in sales from last week, the collaborative smash from Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney “FourFiveSeconds” is still at #1 at the latest count. The track, which was certified Gold last week, is now eyeing the Platinum milestone with 805,587 total singles sold. “FourFiveSeconds” pushed just over 172,000 singles in its fifth week on the charts and its fourth at the top spot.

The Weeknd’s “Earned It” Still Rising, Breaks Gold
Holding onto its runner-up position for another week in a row, The Weeknd’s 50 Shades Of Grey soundtrack number sold 119,503 singles, enough to push it past the requirement for a Gold record with 546,854 total singles sold.
Drake Breaks Into The Top 3
After making headlines for his record-breaking takeover of the chart, Drake finally broke into the upper tier of the list with his If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late track “Energy.” Now in it’s second week on the chart, “Energy” jumped from #6 to #3 with 76,791 singles sold in the latest sales period. The newest numbers represent a 21% sales hike and bring the Toronto rapper past the hundred grand marker with 140,254 total sold in just over two weeks.
