This week brought new music from the likes of Action Bronson, Big Sean, and Young Thug. Leading the list though, Kevin Gates dropped off a new single called “Flicka Da Wrist” in which he references both Jay Z and Kanye West. Meanwhile, Nas’ anticipated collaboration with Madonna hit the web and fans got a chance to listen to the unlikely pairing as a result. Rounding out the Top 3, a handful of A-list Hip Hop stars were a part of Jimmy Kimmel’s latest edition of his “Mean Tweets” segment.

Lower down the list, a new Chris Brown and Tyga video is released and the full version of Kanye West’s “God Level” is made available.

Kevin Gates Releases “Flicka Da Wrist”

After making news for his admission that he’s been in a sexual relationship with his cousin last month, Kevin Gates has returned with a new single. The Fred On Em-produced “Flicka Da Wrist” track finds Gate making reference to Jay Z and Kanye West. “Ain’t no more real niggas, I’m who Jay Z / And Kanye like to listen to honeslty,” he raps, “They probably won’t tell you that honestly / Super polite, got a record that followed me.”

In January, Gates, opened up about being in a relationship with a woman he found out was his cousin.

“I’m fuckin’ the shit out of her, come to find out she my cousin,” Kevin Gates said in a video uploaded to Instagram. “Ya heard me? But I ain’t bout to stop fuckin’ with her. Shit, the pussy good and we click. Shit, I ain’t grow up with you knowing you was my people…Man, y’all gonna stay out my mothafuckin’ business. So, you mean to tell me if you been fuckin’ somebody for three months. Ya heard me? Everythang beautiful. And yo grandmama come and tell you one day ‘You know, that’s your cousin.’ Y’all done got the hard part out the way. Why fuck up a good thang? I don’t get tired.”

Nas Features On Madonna’s “Veni Vidi Vici”

Madonna made news in the Hip Hop world with the release of her latest album tracklist given its features from Nas, Chance The Rapper, and even Mike Tyson. Earlier this week, we got a chance to hear Nas on Madonna’s “Veni Vidi Vici” and both artists offer up autobiographical lines throughout.

“Madonna, life is so crazy,” Nas says at the beginning of the track. “You’ve been through a lot. Gotta tell you a story sometimes.”

Madonna raps on the song herself, spitting, “I started writing songs, I kinda got into the groove / They tried to criticize my every single move/ But then I realized I had nothing left to lose / It took me by surprise when I became the news.”
