This week’s headlines were dominated by a trio of big album releases on Tuesday, January 20 with Lil Wayne’s mixtape in particular making news for a series of Cash Money disses early in the tracklist. 50 Cent also spoke out about the possibility of a blockbuster boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, saying outright, “That’s not going to happen.”
Elsewhere, hackers claimed responsibility for Atlantic Records giving fans a release date for Lupe’s new album.
50 Cent Says Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao Fight Won’t Happen
After news surfaced that Manny Pacquiao and his promoter Bob Arum had agreed to a possible fight with Floyd Mayweather, G-Unit founder 50 Cent spoke out and predicted that it won’t happen.

“That’s not going to happen,” 50 Cent told Techno Buffalo. “You heard me say it on film. It’s not going to happen.”
50 believes that Floyd is in a favorable position and can practically choose to fight anyone he wants. Reports have surfaced online stating that Mayweather may not fight Pacquiao. The undefeated champion may select a rematch with Miguel Cotto instead.
“What you wanna fight Pac-Man for under those circumstances when you can pick anybody you want to?” 50 asks within the clip. “Cause we wanna see the toughest fight?”

Hackers Claim Responsibility For Lupe Fiasco Release Date
With Lupe Fiasco’s fifth album finally released after a series of delays earlier this week, some fans may recall that the Atlantic Records emcee has a group of hackers to thank for the drop.
Back in October, Hackers of the Operation Free Lupe division of Anonymous claimed responsibility for Atlantic Records tweeting a release date for the Tetsuo & Youth album.
On October 14, TheAnonMessage tweeted, “@AtlanticRecords: You have 24 hours to present a statement announcing the immediate release of @LupeFiasco’s album.”

Atlantic replied with the release date, to which Lupe tweeted “V.”
The following day, TheAnonMessage tweeted, “Damn, we wanted to test that website crasher though.”
Birdman Reportedly Frustrated With Lil Wayne After Cash Money Diss
With an obvious diss for Cash Money appearing early on Lil Wayne’s new mixtape, Birdman is reportedly now angry with his label’s star.

According to TMZ, Birdman is annoyed because of the choice words Lil Wayne raps on the cut regarding his current label situation with Cash Money.
“Our sources say Birdman is angry on 2 fronts … that Wayne is trying to bail on a binding contract and even more personal, he’s putting their relationship on blast,” TMZ says.
“The mogul won’t budge and will only release the album on his terms,” the article adds. “And he will fight Wayne if he sues to get out of his contract.”
The report also states that Birdman “will not voluntarily release the rapper from Cash Money.”
