Lupe Fiasco discussed a wide range of topics in an interview billed as one of his last, on the Sway in the Morning broadcast, Thursday (January 22).

During the conversation, Lupe reflected on the crafting of his album, Tetsuo & Youth, his strained relationship with Atlantic Records  and his social media spats with Kid Cudi and Azaelia Banks.

Fiasco says that he had a cool relationship with Cudi until about a year ago.

“Fuck him,” he says.  “I wanna get to the bottom of what the fuck you talkin’ about. Because it’s me. The same nigga you went in Complex and was like, ‘One of the only niggas who reached out to me genuinely and had love for me was Lupe.’ You the worst type of nigga.”

Fiasco points to the back-and-forth with the Cleveland rapper  as the reason why he has left Twitter.

“That’s why I left” he says. “I felt like people just caught the tail end of the conversation and then wanted to speak their piece and just go crazy and felt like I was enabling people to bring out the dumb shit.”

Tetsuo & Youth dropped on Tuesday (January 20) but the rapper had some additional bars for the morning show.
