This week’s Hip Hop headlines include Chris Rock breaking down his favorite rapper list with Angie Martinez in promotion of his currently-playing Top Five movie. Also, YG and DJ Mustard appeared to beef on Instagram but a post by the producer several days later seemed to make light of the whole issue, hinting that the original rift was a joke to begin with.
Finally, Faith Evans dishes on Tupac Shakur making an inappropriate sexual advance while she was in California recording with several Death Row artists despite her still being signed to Bad Boy.

“The new rule is Top 5’s without mentioning Jay ’cause it’s just boring at this point,” he said, speaking with Angie. “It’s always boring ’cause it’s like, ‘Jay, Jay.'”
“People get angry when you don’t mention Eminem,” he later said. “They really like, ‘Hey! Eminem’s one of the greatest.’ Okay! He’s good. I’m not a big ‘Stan’ guy. I like ‘Stan.’ I loved him on ‘Renegade.’ He’s great on ‘Renegade.’ I like him on a lot of stuff. I like ‘Stan’ but you don’t hear ‘Stan’ at the club, ever. Not any club I wanna be at. ‘It was hot last night and then they played “Stan.”‘ ‘What? Where were you? Did they play “Stan? Was it a remix or something?'”

“I went to the studio and saw a lot of Death Row people,” she said. “I played it off and played it cool even though I didn’t think that was a good look, just because of the fact of the Suge and Puff situation.”
Admitting that Pac made an explicit sexual advance when she visited his hotel room, Faith told VladTV that she “allowed [herself] to be played” by being in the situation.
“By that time I think it was pretty clear to me that that was kind of like a plan,” she said. “Like, ‘You’ve been got.’ I allowed myself to be played and get into this situation, because this is totally not how I operate. That ain’t how I do business and that was not up for discussion. I was in LA to make my money. I’m very much about the coins.”
