This week’s Hip Hop & R&B single sales chart looks almost exactly as it did last week with a slight rearrangement after the Top 3. Big Sean and E-40 again have the #1 song while ILOVEMAKONNEN and Iggy Azalea follow closely behind at #2 and #3 respectively. Lower down the list, O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo” continues its climb, knocking Usher’s recent single down to #7 in the process.
Finally, J. Cole’s album, which was promoted as a body of work without any singles, saw its first track chart at #9 as “Wet Dreamz” sold more than 23,000 in a single week.
Big Sean & E-40 Hold On To #1
In its 13th week on the charts, Big Sean and E-40’s collaborative single remains at #1 yet again selling almost exactly the same number of singles as last week at 63,742. The shared track recently broke the half-million sold mark and now sits at 631,745 total sold.

ILOVEMAKONNEN Drops 8%
Despite a 8% drop in sales from last week’s numbers, ILOVEMAKONNEN and Drake’s “Tuesday” single held on to its #2 spot with 50,611 singles sold. The track’s total sold record just outranks the #1 single at 637,048.
J. Cole’s “Wet Dreamz” Debuts At #9
With his album breaking records earlier this week—first as the best first-week performer in Hip Hop this year and then smashing a Spotify streaming record—J. Cole’s “Wet Dreamz” broke into the Top 10 with 23,264 singles sold earning the track a spot at #9.
