After the rapper took to Instagram in October to announce a line of customized medical masks meant to protect from the spread of Ebola, TMZcaught up with Cam’ron and asked about the sales.

“Them shit’s good, I already sold 5,000 man,” he seems to say in the clip.

Asked if the masks are a legitimate protection device, Cam admits that he’s no expert.

“Listen, I don’t know,” he said. “I ain’t really an expert on Ebola but shit, you buy some shit at Walgreen’s that’s the flu mask. You know what I’m saying?”

The “Cam’ron Ebola Mask” is advertised for $19.99 and is scheduled to ship on November 7 according to the online Dipset store. An image of the mask is available below.

Last month, Cam’ron posted an image on Instagram announcing the sale and directing fans to the Dipset website to purchase the medical masks.

The Ebola virus disease has claimed the lives of nearly 5,000 people in West Africa according to a recent Reuters report. The Center for Disease Control reports that a total of four cases of the virus have been confirmed in the United States as of October 31.
