During a February interview with HipHopDX, Chicago’s Rhymefest explained some of the underlying concepts behind his upcoming album, Violence Is Sexy. As the release date draws closer, Rhymefest has partnered with PledgeMusic to facilitate fan pledges and bring listeners into the process of creating the album.

“All you have to do is pledge (on any of the exclusives or experiences listed below) and you’ll gain access to the pledger-only portion of the site where I’ll bring you along sharing pictures and videos from the studio, first listens to some of the new tracks, and more!” Rhymefest wrote in a custom message on his PledgeMusic page.

“You all know my strong ties to Donda’s House so to make this even better, I am going to donate a portion of the money raised to this incredible organization. Donda’s House seeks to provide a safe, creative environment that inspires, empowers, challenges and produces tomorrow’s problem solvers through art instruction.”

The pledge window for Violence Is Sexy closes in 42 days. Fans can pledge various amounts to obtain access levels, which vary from a digital upload of Violence Is Sexy to a studio hang with Rhymefest. Complete details are available at Rhymefest’s PledgeMusic page.
