Justin Bieber has made headlines recently, but not for his music. Last week, Bieber was accused of being under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, and Xanax when police stopped him for allegedly drag racing in Miami Beach, Florida. Bieber was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. Bieber had also been accused of egging a neighbor’s house in California, causing thousands of dollars in damages, which led to a search of the singer’s home.

As the result of the search, Bieber’s friend, rapper Lil Za, has been charged with three felony charges: two counts of felony possession for Ecstasy and Oxycodone, and one for allegedly breaking a jail phone before posting bail, reports US Magazine.

In a recent interview with AllHipHop, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon was asked to provide the young star some advice.

“Shorty, you got to be held accountable for the things that you do, you know what I mean,” Rae said. “Don’t throw it all away for nothing. People love you because they see that you have something — you can’t. You got to show them that you won’t change as a person, but you’ll grow through experiences.”

Rae continued, advising Bieber to keep things more low-key. “Just be a little bit more cautious on how you do shit, you know,” the Wu-Tang Clan member said. “Don’t do your shit corny-looking. Do it in a way that people respect that you’re getting older. He got paper. He coolin’. He can have anything that he wants. Sometimes because of our success we let that go through our head, too. I like him, personally. That’s my guy. I wish him the best.”

In 2011, Kanye West remixed Bieber’s “Runaway Love” track. The remix included Raekwon, and the cut primarily featured a sample of Wu-Tang Clan’s “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta Fuck Wit.”

CNN reports that Justin Bieber was recently granted re-entry into the United States after a plane search.
