A possible Street King Immortal track gives 50 Cent momentum while Lil Wayne quickly takes over almost half of this week’s top 10. Eminem’sBerzerk” keeps a firm hold on fans ahead of the recently announced November 5 release date for The Marshall Mathers LP 2; the single debuted at number three on Billboard’s list of the Top 100 digital songs of the week, where it now rests at #2. “Berzerk” has reportedly already been purchased more than 360,000 times

50 Cent And Skylar Grey Single Leaks

Still with little news of his upcoming album, Street King Immortal, a 50 Cent song featuring Wisconsin native Skylar Grey leaked earlier this week. The song, “Don’t Turn On Me (Warning You),” features a simple piano loop and heavy synths courtesy of producer Alex da Kid, the producer who signed Grey to his own label KIDinaKORNER some time back. For his part, 50 Cent expressed surprise that the song had leaked and also worried about a similar fate for the rest of his album:

The New York City head of G-Unit also made note of the unfinished nature of the song, Tweeting “it’s not even mixed.” In the song, Grey sings her now signature anthemic style of chorus with the lyrics holding a special relevance for 50 Cent’s career: “When they say my time is up / And I am just collecting dust / Don’t turn on me, don’t turn on me / And when they claim that I’m washed up / Or when my guns begin to rust / I’m warning you, don’t turn on me.”

Lil Wayne’s Dedication 5 Dominates The List

Besides a feature on the #2 single of the week alongside Drake on 2 Chainz’B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time single “I Do It,” Lil Wayne has also carved out a good chunk of the list for himself with tracks from his recently released Dedication 5mixtape. 2 Chainz’ album also features artists like Fergie, Lloyd and Ma$e and is set for an early week release next Tuesday (September 10). Me Time will arrive just over a year after the first installment and 2 Chainz’ solo debut.

With an ad-libbed fueled assist from T.I., Lil Wayne’s “Typa Way” secures the #4 spot while The Weeknd’s introduction to the mixtape takes the #5. On “Typa Way” T.I. raps, “Empty a clip to yo’ earring, and yo’ chest sting and you out the door / I hope we don’t feel no way no mo’ / This flooded Rollie make you feel some type of way / Your ho be on me, know you feel some type of way / The car I’m driving make you feel some type of way / The cash I get, it make you feel some type of way.”

Also featured on Dedication 5 and showing off its revolving door of featured emcees, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and T.I. link up at once for the “Feds Watching Remix.” With the original Pharrell produced track appearing as the third song on 2 Chainz’ upcoming B.O.A.T.S. II album, Lil Wayne’s Dedication 5 is anchored by the remix. On the song he raps, “I look down at the stars / I could pull a few strings, make it sound like guitars / Told that bitch she my boo, now the round of applause / Shit, I’m a be dressed to kill, now the dead watching / Tunechi!”

Pusha T Enlists Chris Brown For My Name Is My Name Single

With My Name Is My Name set for an October 8 release date, Pusha T’s newest single comes packaged with a Chris Brown feature. Late last month, the G.O.O.D. Music member let loose two pieces of cover art for the album, which will serve as his solo debut. Both inside and out of the booth the younger Thornton brother has talked up his debut calling it the “best album of the year” earlier in the summer. On the song, Pusha offers up his typically metaphor-laden bars, kicking off the second verse with a series of “balling” rhymes: “Supreme ballers, all my niggas got ESPYs / Triple doubles, both wrist and neck freeze / Triple doubles, two bricks and tech squeeze / Triple doubles, two hoes and check please.”
