Last week, veteran emcee and endorsement king Snoop Lion (a/k/a Snoop Dogg) released Snoopify, an app for “photo-bombing.” The app was designed by 99centbrains, Upper Playground and Snoop’s public relations and marketing company, the Cashmere Agency.
Snoopify allows users to enhance photographs with virtual “stickers” on Instagram, with animated extras including wads of money, jheri curl hairstyles, grape juice and various caricatures of the rapper who endorses it—Snoop.
Spokespeople for the Long Beach, California native included the following examples, using photographs of 2 Chainz and Drake:
The free app is compatible with both iPhone and Android, and is available on iTunes and Google Play, respectively.
