Lil Wayne Confirms His Good Health & Announces Summer Tour With T.I.
Lil Wayne gave fans a scare last week after he suffered a second seizure. Reports emerged that Wayne was being prepped for his last rites. However, Young Money President Mack Maine disputed reports that Wayne was close to death, lashing out at TMZ in the process. T.I. jumped into the fray as well, taking TMZ to task for its reporting. Ultimately, Wayne was released on Monday (March 18th). On Friday (March 22nd), Wayne released a 90-second video confirming his good health and thanking fans for their support. T.I. popped into the video as well, as the duo announced that they would be touring together this summer.
Man Shoots Friend In Attempt To Join Illuminati, Become Rap Star
Hip Hop’s obession with the Illuminati went to new highs as a man, allegedly saying “You are my sacrifice,” fired a shot at his friend’s head in a Henrico County, Virginia home. Aspiring rapper Sabir El-Amin believed he had to sacrifice his friend to join the secret society. Luckily, the victim was able to block the shot with his hand, wrestle the gun away from El-Amin, shoot him in the stomach, and make his escape. After reading a book on the role of the Illuminati in Hip Hop, El-Amin allegedly believed that he had to become part of the group to attain success in the Hip Hop industry.

LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Public Enemy & De La Soul Announce Kings Of The Mic Tour
Fans of classic Hip Hop music will be delighted to hear that four of Hip Hop’s most celebrated acts have announced a summer tour. LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, and De La Soul will embark on the “Kings of the Mic” tour, which will begin in late May and conclude in July. Phoenix, Arizona’s DJ Z-Trip will serve as LL’s latest touring deejay. LL Cool J and Public Enemy toured together as Def Jam label-mates in 1987 and 1988, while Chuck D,Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Travis Barker, and Z-Trip joined Uncle L at the Grammy Awards to perform “Whaddup” from LL’s upcoming album Authentic.
