Aesop Rock has a new collaborative project in the works with folk singer Kimya Dawson.

According to a recent report from 2DopeBoyz, the veteran Def Jux/Rhymesayers emcee and Moldy Peaches front woman have teamed up for a new side project under the moniker The Uncluded. The project will be a fusion of Dawson’s lo-fi folk leanings and Aesop’s rhymes.

The duo also took to Facebook to announce the release of their debut album Hokey Fright, out May 7th via Rhymesayers. The LP is currently available for pre-order via Fifth Element.

This isn’t the first time that Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson have linked up on wax. The pair recorded a 10″ vinyl with Atmosphere for last year’s Record Store Day, and even appeared on each others’ respective solo efforts, Skelethon and Thunder Thighs
