Even though he first made his mark alongside Grand Puba and Lord Jamar as a member of Brand Nubian, veteran rhymer Sadat X has managed to carve himself a niche in Hip Hop as a solo artist. Now, the New York emcee is celebrating the release of his ninth solo LP.
This past December 4, Sadat released his latest effort Love, Hell or Right via 6.8.2 Records. With features from Pharoahe Monch, N.O.R.E., Roc Marciano and more, as well as production from Marco Polo, Showbiz and DJ Spinna, X explains that the album falls under the category of “grown man music” that will appeal to his generation of artists.
“You have to go through hell in order to do right,” he said. “It’s dedicated to the hardworking people and not about fame and glory. Hip Hop spans the globe, its universal. It’s an art – it doesn’t imitate, it creates…it’s grown man music. Now that my generation has grown and matured, I’m making music for them.”

Finally, it looks like Cincinnati rapper Lantana preparing to take the world of Hip Hop by storm. Now, in a recent press release, Lantana discusses his latest mixtape release The All Hustle No Luck Tape.
The Ohio rapper recently celebrated the release of his newest mixtape project through his own imprint All Hustle No Luck Entertainment. He explained that his mixtape, which features the likes of Dub Santora, 40 Mike and Fly, is a culmination of his hard work and desire to inspire others.
“The All Hustle No Luck Tape is important to me because it’s the best opportunity I have to put me and my people in a better situation,” he said. “I made this tape with the intentions to motivate people in whatever they want to do in life. My brand, ‘All Hustle No Luck,’ is more than words…it’s a lifestyle and the lifestyle that I live…[the tape] my best work to date and it’s just the beginning of my story. I really want to have an impact on my listeners. I want to inspire people to want more for themselves and those around them. I truly do it for my people.”
