As I suspected, hiphopsite has confirmed that the retail version of “The Black Album” will feature two bonus tracks. And no, the version on the net and on mtv.com are not the retail version. One of the tracks will be produced by Dr. Dre, and will more than likely be the second single. There is some confusion regarding the second track, it will likely be a Mel Man produced banger featuring MC Lyte on the hook. But the word around the industry that won’t die is that a Jay/Nas collabo is not out of the question…
In other news, while the album may have been pushed forward from November 28th, Jay’s accompanying Black Shoe is still slated for that day. The S. Carter Collection will come in men’s, women’s and children’s models.
