Another week, another chart of the top digital downloads. This time, DJ Khaled and company stake an impressive claim with a bevy of singles from his latest album placing in the top 200, while Slaughterhouse debuts in the Top 50 with a little help from their pal Eminem.
DJ Khaled Dominates Charts With Seven Singles
Last week, DJ Khaled delivered his sophomore effort under YMCMB Kiss the Ring, and while the album didn’t sit well with DX’s reviewers, that didn’t stop him from making the most of it on the charts. Khaled was able to place a whopping seven singles on the digital sales charts this week, with his Lil Wayne, T.I. and Future-assisted cut “Bitches & Bottles (Let’s Get It Started)” leading the pack at #68. Other singles on the charts include “I Wish You Would” with Kanye West and Rick Ross at #103, “I’m So Blessed” with Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Ace Hood and T-Pain at #106, “Take It To The Head” with Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne at #125, “They Ready” with J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar at #165, “Hip Hop” with Nas, Scarface and DJ Premier at #176, and finally, “Don’t Pay 4 It” with Wale, Tyga, Mack Maine and Kirko Bangz at #177.
Slaughterhouse Crack Top 50 With “Throw That”
Slaughterhouse also had a big week this past week with their latest single “Throw That.” The song, which features their Shady Records boss Eminem, came in at #40 on the charts with nearly 37,000 in sales. The track is the latest single off their widely anticipated major label debut welcome to: Our House, which dropped just yesterday. The last time the self-dubbed Voltron crew was featured on the list was for their single “My Life” with Cee-Lo Greene, debuting at #55 with 33,000 in sales.
