It looks like Mac Miller isn’t the only one feeling the wrath of the legal system. Now, AllHipHop reports that Game was recently hit with a lawsuit over a mixtape beat.
Producer Infamous alleges that he gave the California rapper a beat in 2010 to decide whether he wanted to use it on a project. Apparently, the producer never heard back from Game about the track and it was used without his consent as “Skate On” on his California Republic mixtape.
Infamous also says that he attempted to get into contact with Game via a letter, but that the Compton emcee never responded. He is seeking $100,000 compensation in the suit.
This isn’t the first time Game’s headed to court over a mixtape beat. Last year, RZA filed suit against the emcee over the song “Heartbreak” from his Purp & Patron mixtape.
