Almost exactly a year since another hip hop icon took over the theatres, Tupac makes his long awaited return to the silver screen. Albeit in a different manor than before. The first official and authorized 2Pac biography, called “Tupac: Resurrection,” is less than a month away.

Brought to you by Paramount Pictures, MTV Films and Amaru Entertainment, the documentary is narrated by Pac using well put together audio from various interviews. Over the hour and 45 minute film, you will get a glimpse at never-before-seen home movies, rare video footage, private photographs, and excerpts from his poetry, journals and personal letters.

Unfortunately, despite his huge worldwide popularity and critical acclaim of the film thus far, Paramount has decided give the film a limited release. It will still be fairly available, but it will be a smaller scale than their regular films.
