On Tuesday, September 30th a jury ruled that Corey “C-Murder” Miller was guilty of second degree murder, a charge that carries an automatic life sentence. The incident involved Miller shooting 16-year-old Steven Thomas in the chest inside of the Platinum Club in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana in early 2002.

Miller further incriminated himself this spring when he had a cell phone smuggled into jail in order to threaten key witnesses. Miller had nine witnesses testify on his behalf but they provided details that conflicted with one another and did little to help.

Master P himself has not commented on the verdict but Miller’s family has said they will appeal the decision.
