Apparently, this was not just happening around me. Several readers informed me yesterday that outlets such as Best Buy were being mobbed by fans trying to get the new album. In fact, demand is even greater than Arista expected and they are having trouble meeting demand at this point.
The double album, which is priced as a single album, may come close to topping 50 Cent for the best first week sales this year. Already a shoe-in for the number one spot on Billboard 200, sales are expected to push 500,000 this week.
