The 3 ring circus continues. On Tuesday 50 was on the Funk Flex show and took some well directed shots at other rappers. First he chastised Lil’ Kim for being too emotional, then he launched into a harsh verse dissing both Shyne and Joe Budden. Funk Flex had to stop him and encouraged 50 to keep it peaceful.
50 also has some shots coming his way, from a foe very familiar to the Shady camp – The Source. Next month’s issue, which features 50 on the cover, will attempt to take the wind out of 50’s sails questioning his precious street credibility.
They accuse 50 of stealing his name, lying about his time upstate (“Boo-Boo (as 50 was nicknamed back then) actually only spent 7 months in a ‘shock incarceration’ boot-camp”), abandoning his childhood friends, and questioning his relationship with Eminem (“According to manager Chris Lighty, 50 Cent and Violator have been increasingly trying to distance themselves from Eminem.”).
