Brad Jordan adopted his name, countless producers have sampled clips of the movie and nearly every gangster rapper has tried to emulate him – Tony Montana, better known as Scarface. 2003 marks the 20th anniversary of the cinematic classic, and Universal has teamed with Def Jam to celebrate the occasion.

On September 30th they will release a special two disk set. It will feature a digitally remastered version of the movie, special features including commentary from Al Pacino, Oliver Stone and Brian DePalma talking about their battle to receive an R rating, the original Scarface and more. Also included is rappers such as Snoop, Eve, P.Diddy, and of course, Scarface, talking about how the movie affected them.

The original 1932 version of Scarface will also be included. In addition, Def Jam will release “Def Jam Recordings Presents Music Inspired By Scarface.” It will feature music from Jay-Z, Biggie and even Grandmaster Flash.
