With their single together blowing up all over, Snoop and 50 toyed with the idea of making an entire album together. The idea quickly came to fruition as the DPG-Unit was quickly formed and recording began. The group consists of both the DPG crew and the G-Unit crew.

“We’re gonna take over the whole world,” Daz said of the joint venture. “We got a song with me, Snoop Dogg, Soopafly, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent for the G-Unit album.” The rappers recorded 9 songs in a 3 day period while touring for Roc The Mic. As of right now they are undecided as to what label will release the album.

The 6 men have had no problem creating the album, “Eight bars, eight bars, eight bars, then a hook. Eight, eight, eight, then a hook,” Daz said of the song structures. “We’re going back and forth. It’s all about coordination. Sometimes we’re in there doing our parts while members of the G-Unit are onstage. Sometimes they’re doing their parts while we’re onstage. We’ll be in there sometimes together. Especially after the show, we have our little parties and whatever. We be having a good time. We’re trying to make it a whole album, just unite together and keep it crackin.”
