The praise just does not seem to stop for Eminem. The latest comes from Nobel Poet Laureate Sheamus Heaney, a famous Irish poet who was asked if there were any one in music who aroused interest in poetry and lyrics the way Bob Dylan and John Lennon did back in the 60’s. Heaney replied, “There is this guy Eminem…he has sent a voltage around a generation. He has done this not just through his subversive attitude but also his verbal energy.”
