Every year financial magazine Forbes releases their “Power Lists.” Among those power lists are their rankings of the most powerful celebrities, whom are chosen for reasons such as ‘earning power’ and ‘media hits.’
After not even appearing on the list last year, Eminem and Dr.Dre are number two on the list this year. Only Jennifer Aniston bettered the Interscope duo.
With the success of “The Eminem Show,” “8 Mile,” Dre’s demand for production and the signing of 50 Cent, there is no denying their financial success. A number two spot is still shocking, consider that they beat the likes of Tiger Woods, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney and Oprah Winfrey.
