As likely the only emcee who’s skills on the mic are matched by his skills on the silver screen, Mos Def has been making some major strides in show biz as of late. The latest comes in the form of a hosting gig on “The Block Party,” an urban lifestyle show on ESPN2.
The Dodge sponsored show will air for nine weeks this summer, focusing on urban interests such as Streetball: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour; The Life; Friday Night Fights and The Barbershop Segment.
Over the course of the nine weeks, various athletes and entertainers will make guest appearances on the show. Be sure to check out Mos and “The Block Party” beginning tonight at 7:00pm.
