The prophet returns!!! Allhiphop reports that Jeru The Damaja is preparing to release his fourth album, “Divine Design,” sometime in September. This marks his first release in 4 years. At one time regarded as one of hip-hop’s premier emcees, Jeru is best-known for his 94 classic, “The Sun Rises In The East.” Never one to bite his tongue, when Jeru was asked about an emcee with a similar name, he had this to say, “Basically, he stole my name,” Jeru remarked. “It’s like, if your name is Busta Rhymes, I’ll come out and say my name is Augusta Rhymes. Or if your name is Jay-Z, I’ll come out and say my name is Kay-Z. It’s different, it’s not the same, but it sounds too close.”
