Ludacris’ lyrics have once again gotten him turned away. His well-documented endorsement lose with Pepsi was due to his lyrical content (with Bill O’Reilly pointed it out of course), and now that same content has cost Ludacris a gig at a summer fair in Michigan.

Luda was scheduled to perform at the Jackson County Fair on August 7 but public outcry regarding his content will keep that from happening. “The fair is now promoting a person who disrespects women,” David Krajewski wrote to the editor of the Jackson Citizen Patriot. “I will not be attending. I can’t afford to support an organization that has such little regard for our daughters, wives, mothers and fellow female citizens.”

Unlike Pepsi, who went on to employ the vulgar Osbournes, the County Fair is not out of line. Ludacris’ music is not for children, nor is it meant for a family atmosphere. However, given his love for children, I’m sure Luda would have kept the vulgar material at home.
