Even funnier, Nelly got heartily booed and Lil’ Kim couldn’t keep her silicon mammaries in her top. Although he was supposed to perform sans Jay-Z disses, Nas broke Ether out to negative response. Nas won the audience back when he brought out none other than the Blastmaster, KRS-One. Always one of hip-hop’s best ever performers, he kicked classic renditions of “South Bronx” and “The Bridge Is Over.”
Say it ain’t so Matty! Hiphopsite hinted that Royce Da 5’9 is in talks with Murder Inc. I can’t help but think he would lose a huge chunk of his fan base if he signed with the Inc.
Speaking of the Inc., Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, the man is suspected to have laundered drug money though the label, has been sent to prison. He was sentenced to 37 months for illegally possessing a gun (he is a convicted felon).
