Talk about irony, after spending the last 5 years ripping on his mother for being lawsuit happy when he was a child, Eminem’s mother just might save her son a million dollars. As previously reported, Em is being sued by childhood bully D’Angelo Bailey for the song “Brain Damage.” Bailey claims the stories told about him in the song are false and they have ruined his own music career.
According to reports, Debbie Mathers filed a lawsuit against the local school board in 1982 for failing to protect Marshall from beatings at the hands of Bailey. The suit claimed he suffered nausea, vomiting, nightmares, abnormal sleeping habits and possible brain damage (explaining the title of the song). Eminem will appear in Macomb County Court in Michigan on May 30th to start the trial. I should also note once again that in Eminem’s first Rolling Stone cover, Bailey freely admitted to Rolling Stone that he pounded on Em, He was the one we used to pick on, there was a bunch of us that used to mess with him. You know, bully-type things. We was having fun. Sometimes he’d fight back – depended on what mood he’d be in.”
