Prince Paul, the creative genius behind De La Soul’s early classics, Stetsasonic, the Gravediggaz, and his own ground-breaking albums, has returned with his latest concept album. “Politics of the Business” follows in the footsteps of “Psychoanalysis” and “Prince Among Thieves” in that is it is heavily concept based. This time it is a jab at the music business in satirical fashion.
The album, which drops May 6th, will feature some anti-bootlegging features since the album leaked late in 2002. The album comes with a “CD-key” to unlock exclusive downloads, remixes, outtakes, unseen footage and behind the scenes footage from the recording sessions. In addition, the sequence will be changed, there are new edits, some new vocals and two new hidden tracks.
