A pioneer of the west coasts conscious movement in the early 90’s, Aceyalone may be slept on by the masses but he is one of most highly regarded emcees of all-time on the indy circuit. Ace-One has been a major part of numerous ground-breaking albums, from Freestyle Fellowship’s “To Whom It May Concern” to the “Project Blowed” compilation to his outstanding solo works.
After already blessing fans with a side project this year (“The World We Live In” with Elusive), “Love & Hate” is Acey’s official follow-up to the critically-acclaimed “Accepted Eclectic” from 2001. The album will come out on Deconstruction Comp/Project Blowed/Red in the late spring. Acey has enlisted the production talents of heavyweight Def Jukies Rjd2 and El-P, and of course, Fat Jack.
