While his second single, “Beautiful,” is getting major spins on the radio and television, Snoop is headed back to the courtroom. All because Snoop didn’t learn his lesson. If you recall, he was sued by an elderly woman over the use of her voice (from an answering machine) in 1997.

A Compton, Cali native who goes by Joh Doe has sued Snoop for the unauthorized use of his voice on “Pimp Slapp’d.” The Suge Knight diss from “Paid The Cost To Be The Bo$$” used his voice “because it was so real,” according to Snoop. The amount of the suit is not known, but the plaintiff does want his voice removed from the song.

“Unfortunately, it is so real that the Plaintiff now fears for his life and that of his elderly mother because it appears that he, as a Compton resident (where a rival of Broadus [Snoop], Suge Knight, apparently has a lot of pull and is feared) is supporting Broadus in the turf war,” said Doe’s lawyer.
