This past Tuesday Eminem’s box-office smash, “8 Mile,” was released on DVD and home video. According to a few local retailers, they were stocked with over a 100 copies of the DVD to meet anticipated demand at their location. Sales did not disappoint as the DVD instantly hit the number one spot with $40+ million in sales.
With the hype once again in full-force, Premiere Props is taking advantage of the situation and auctioning off various items used in the making of “8 Mile.” Among the items being auctioned are Eminem’s toque, which is currently at $305, his outfit of jeans, hoodie and jacket ($316), and his NDS outfit at $306.
Other cast members are also having their props auctioned, from DJ IZ’s eye glasses and turtleneck, to various outfits worn by Alex, Future, Lyckedy Split, and Lilly. Somehow, the plaid shirt worn by Greg, has yet to be bid on.
